Royal Windsor Horse Show 2012 in partnership with Land Rover

RWHS_2012_535

With more than 80,000 people in attendance, more than 3,000 horses and ponies competing and international equestrian displays never seen in the UK, this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show was an unmissable occasion. For the eighth consecutive year, we were privileged to partner with this prestigious Show, supporting eight different events ranging from the Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix to the Land Rover Six Bar.

This year was a very special year for the Royal Windsor Horse Show with the celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. In place of the annual Royal Tattoo, a spectacular Jubilee Pageant was held each evening, in which major international equestrian displays put on performances, ranging from the New South Wales Mounted Police Musical Ride to the Magnificent Dancing Marwaris of India.

Land Rover was also the official vehicle provider to the Show, putting us right at the heart of the action with over 100 Land Rover vehicles in use across the event. These included dedicated support vehicles for course officials, the Windsor Castle Police, horse ambulances, fire tenders, and, of course, VIP chauffeuring.

As a long-standing partner of the Show, we’ve produced a series of short films to offer insight into what it means to compete and perform at the largest outdoor equestrian event in the UK. Scroll down to watch each film within this blog post.
