To get things off to a flying start this week we wanted to share Jundio Salvador’s ‘Best Land Rover Photo Experiments’ album from Facebook. Jundio uses his love of Land Rovers as a platform to practice new camera styles and techniques. He states, “The interesting iconic subject makes the hobby more interesting and delightful.” We think you’ll admire his careful handiwork so make sure you check it out.
To shift things up a gear, we want to tell you about another exclusive chance to see the Range Rover Evoque before its release in September. This time, Range Rover will be mixing mouthwatering culinary delights with cutting edge style and performance at the Northamptonshire Food Show. Now we’re really cruising, our third article takes a look at the weird and wonderful world of Land Rover conversions in the volkzone.com forum. Simply titled ‘Oddball Land Rover’ it features many great photos – from 6-wheelers to tractor conversions – it is not to be missed.
Before we come to a halt we have a bit of nostalgia to share with you. William Whittaker’s personal website gives a detailed look at the history of the classic Land Rovers. Using notes his father had previously put together, William explores the specifications of the prototype model, Series’ 1-3 and the Defender 90/110. It even features an old news article from 1993 that is definitely worth viewing.
