Who makes the best 4×4’s? That’ll be Land Rover!

We’re thrilled to announce that in an MSN Cars poll of 40,000 people, Land Rover came out on top as the UK’s favourite 4×4 maker. With an astonishing 54% of the votes, we kicked other leading 4×4 manufacturers such as Jeep, Mitsubishi and Subaru to the kerb. Premium marques such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche similarly lagged behind in the poll.
Just under 40,000 people provided their answer to the question “Which firm makes the best 4×4 type cars”. With second-placed Toyota polling just 9% of the vote and Audi arriving in third place with 8%, our 54% was the definition of an emphatic victory.
The MSN Cars poll clearly shows that the UK public continue to hold a special place in their hearts for Land Rover vehicles. We’d like to extend a warm thank you to everyone who voted for us in this poll.
