Land Rover at Classics on the Common
On Wednesday afternoon the Land Rover social team visited Hertfordshire for a classic car exhibition. Situated on the common in the rural town of Harpenden, the normally serene setting was temporarily interrupted by over a thousand vintage cars and approximately 10,000 spectators.
The cars were out in full force, from a rare Hispano Suiza to a range of vintage ‘muscle cars’, it would have been easier to name the vehicles not involved. Of course there were some classic Land Rovers present too, we particularly liked the immaculately kept Series 1 – 86 and the charismatic 101 Forward Control, both of which attracted a lot of attention from passers by.
