Land Rover DC100 and DC100 Sport Frankfurt News Roundup
The reveal of the Land Rover DC100 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show has attracted some heated discussion. We’ve seen a lot of in-depth analyses, big stories and some really interesting posts in particular.
Surely winning some sort of award for speed, we really liked Car Magazine’s FAQ which provided a thoughtful summary of the Land Rover DC100 Sport reveal. 
In a similar vein, Rover Guide have been enthusiastically following the story from the start and gave a good overview of the concepts’ technical capabilities. We’ve seen interesting stories in newspapers from around the world including The Telegraph, The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Corriere Del Serra and The Daily Mail.
In the automotive press and bloggers camp there were interesting round ups from Jalopnik, Crank & Piston, Autoblog, Autotrader and Pistonheads (who take the vehicle on in their own imitable editorial style). We were also pleased to see Land Rover Owner International’s to the point and factual post about our announcement.
Of course, the discussion continues on our Facebook page, across numerous forums, Twitter and here within the comments on our blog. As we’ve said, this is a concept vehicle, and the start of a four year journey to redefine the Defender for the 21st century. This is the start of a four year journey and we don’t expect to see the final outcome for some time.
We will be sharing this concept around the world over the next twelve months and throughout this time, aim to get more feedback from our fans and customers.
As a concept vehicle, it has allowed us to think outside the legislation constraints of a production car. We welcome and listen to your views and reactions.
