Polar Explorer Ben Saunders, supported by Land Rover, travels to the birthplace of British rock climbing, Scafell Pike in the Lake District.
He talks about his inspirations, adventures and the challenges he has faced including polar bears, frost bite, and the enormous undertaking of skiing solo to the North Pole.
In 2011 Ben Saunders will attempt to be the first person to make the return journey to the South Pole on foot.
